Condition: All original from 1904 with original Elfenbein keys in perfect work order. Ction was completely rebuilt in 2003 by the piano tuner of the National Symphony Orchestra, Washington D. He rebuilt the action with German. Steinway & Sons parts: The action is now the German Steinway & Sons action in perfect work order, not the soft U. Steinway & Sons action, sound accordingly of a German Steinway, not the American Steinway. Comment: It is easy to rebuilt an historic F54 and replace almost everything with new parts including the strings. However, this is the original Steinway sound with the original strings, and on top, the German Steinway sound!
