This is a beautiful piano that has been in my family for nearly 50 years. My stepfather played beautiful jazz music on it. It has not been played in ten years or so, since his passing. It definitely needs to be tuned and needs a couple of the mallets replaced. It had a total renovation done about 30 years ago by a prominent piano company in Washington, DC. We had it inspected by a local tuning service that commented it was a nice acquisition commenting that the board was in amazing condition for it’s age and would make a fine instrument once brought back to life with tuning and regular maintenance. Eight to ten strings in the higher notes had to be replaced after the first couple of tunings. We’ve been proud to own this rich sounding, finely crafted upright. Subsequently, this piano has given us no issues. This well-maintained, cosmetically superior piano needs a new home.
