It is finished in high polished ebony. The finish is in excellent condition. This piano was built to the highest standards. Made in Japan, Japanese Kawai’s are considered better made than their Indonesian counterparts. This was manufactured in 2003-04 (see serial number). The piano sounds crisp and clean with the distinctive Kawai mellow tones. I had the piano tuned, the action extensively regulated and voiced. It was also cleaned and polished. There is nothing wrong with this piano. There is nothing to do on this piano. You will love this piano! The action is light to the touch and very responsive.
