Steinway & Sons 42 Console. We just received this classic Steinway & Son’s 42 console piano originally manufactured in the USA at the Steinway & Sons factory in New York in 1950. The piano is in very good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. We inspected the piano upon arrival at our shop where it was detailed, serviced, and tuned prior to placement on our showroom floor. This tastefully understated Steinway would lend the perfect touch of style and sophistication to any room and would be a wonderful addition to any fine home. 1911 (Decker Bros) Oak Upright Piano – Instrument. This piano was built originally as a “player” by The Decker Brothers Piano Company of Chicago during the “Golden Age” of piano building inAmerica circa 1911 based on. This piano is a large, full size Upright with the string length and soundboard of a full grand piano! This piano is made of quarter sawn oak wood and is of the Mission style, making it ideal for an early 20th Century American Bungalow or Craftsman style home. This piano has been kept on an inside/interior wall and tuned for many years. It was restrung approximately 10 years ago. Some of the keys have wear. The keys are NOT ivory. Recently, we have restored flooring in our house, therefore, the insideof the piano is dusty! FYI – Removal of the original player mechanisms is common inantique player pianos. When the original player mechanisms stopped working, piano tuners would often remove and discardthe original player mechanisms from the piano with no thought to the player mechanisms ever being restored to play again, although, it can be restored to itsformer glory or set up to play with an Ipod or MP3 player, OR this player Upright Piano works just as well as a regular piano! We have a smoke free and (currently)pet free home. Piano must be picked up. Local pick upis best. THIS IS A 1 OWNER. It is a studio console piano that has been used very little and shows little to no wear and tearat all. High gloss & polished laminate mahogany finish. It also comes with a matching padded top bench with storage and is like new condition with only 1 scratch in the bench top. Piano finish shows little to no minor cosmetic signs of use.
