Packard Full Size Upright Piano
It has been restored to its original elegance, inside and out. The first thing that catches your eye is the hand carved motifs on the front panel and the kick board, with elegant styling on the rest of the cabinet. This truly is one of the high end upright pianos built. The cabinet has a new finish showing the beautiful original mahogany with shades of red and brown lusters. The inside has all new parts, with the Original key tops and the original ebony flats and sharps. It has only the finest new parts installed. The action is finely regulated for the proper touch and feel. It is an excellent piano for a first time beginner student to progress on to the advanced piano players needs. The tone of the piano can handle a strong powerful piece to a soft romantic one. This piano is considered an upright grand, due to its large sound board and large plate for the long strings it has. You have to see the piano to truly appreciate the beauty and tone quality it will deliver. All serious offers considered. Kawai 64 Key Piano Marco-polo Apartment Size Acoustic 1950’s
Great sounding 64 key acoustic upright piano. Ebony is really rare. It looks like it has seen a few fingers in it’s time. This piano is is really great shape for its age. Included, is a very nice adjustable seat. I have not been able to pinpoint the date of the piano but the serial is early and they were making these in the 1950’s. This would work well in an apartment or small environment. The only markings on this piano are inside; “marco- polo” and the serial number, see pictures. Per my research, there were no other manufactures making acoustic 64 key, upright mini pianos. Not real heavy and can be lifted by 2 people. Very manageable if you want to use in a small club venue or if you are a traveling musician. There are a few areas where it looks like there was some paint touch up and one missing piece of trim. It could use some TLC and a good tuning but plays wonderfully. Very high resolution pictures, so what you see is what you get.
