Serial #22014 indicates the piano was built at the original factory in Chicago before the company relocated to Michigan. Antique, ornate, Walnut upright Bush and Lane piano in good condition. This is a beautiful piano. It was built in 1920. This piano has been in my family since 1920. It has “lived” in Oregon, Northern California and now Riverside. It needs a good home! Due to Bush and Lane’s advanced player mechanisms, these pianos have withstood the test of time and are often more durable than other pianos from the same era. These pianos set a standard that other piano companies aspired to match, and they are often comparable in quality to some of the finest piano brands of today. You have to hear the piano to appreciate it! Also, the piano is missing the ivory on a few keys. If you need to know how many, let me know! Note: this is a VERY heavy piano! I would guestimate it weighs around 600 to 700 pounds – you will want a professional piano mover to move this piano! Please find a piano mover that meets with your approval! I can not tell you how much they will charge because I do not know the specifications of where your piano will be located. My piano is located near my front door. There is one step (and a threshold) they will need to go down to get the piano to their truck. I can give you more information if you wish. You, or your representative, will need to come look at the piano and make sure it meets with your approval before the sale is final! This protects you and me! This Bush and Lane upright piano with a burled walnut Pompeian case was built circa 1910. It boasts massive columns and elegant moldings and measures 58.5 H x 67.5 W x 29 D. This piano was rebuilt in 1991 including new keyboard, hammers and outside cabinet completely refurbished. It was rescued from an old church in San Pedro, California, that was set to be demolished. This piano has the original matching bench, which is a rare find. Overall, the cabinet is in excellent condition except for some nicks and scrapes on the front piano legs on both sides. Two or three keys are stuck and need repair. One knob on piano cover is loose. Please examine photos closely.
