The price includes 4 things. 2 one tuning at your place a few weeks after it gets acclimated at your place. 3 The price also includes moving within 20 miles and no more than a few steps to get into the house. I made the original white keys whiter and refurbished the original black keys as well. I checked things over and replaced a broken string and 3 tuning pins… The rest are holding a tuning. RONISCH Overstrung Piano in Burr Walnut Serviced Including Local Delivery
The case is in Burr Walnut, with Sconces (Candle sticks). You maybe interested to know this piano is 130 years old and still keeps is fantastic sound. Due to it’s age it will not be suitable for a budding Rachmaninoff who wishes to bash it for 4 hours a day but it is perfectly suitable for someone who wishes to get to grade 3 or 4 and will work fine for many years with the occasional tuning and tweak. It has a full keyboard of 7 Octaves, the keys are made of the original’bone’ like substance and in very good condition. It has been in the same family for 60 years. It has just been serviced, regulated, voiced and tuned to concert Pitch (A440) and suitable for a beginner or good pianist alike. It has a fantastic full sound, a deep Bass and and a very clear treble and a positive firm touch. There are a couple of minor blemishes on the casework in keeping with it’s age. Height 1.34 metres – 52. Width 1.45 metres – 57. Depth (away from the wall at keyboard height) 66 cm – 26. You are welcome to come and play this piano or have it demonstrated in South Brent, Devon. We still have the saleman’s business card. This particular rare model has the same harp as the Steinway baby grand pianos and much greater sound quality than the Steinway Spinets. Steinway & Sons (American/German, founded 1853-), circa 1960. Fine art case upright or console piano with mahogany wood case, model #100 having a hinged fold down lid, accelerated action with diaphragmatic soundboard raised on front reeded, turned legs. Piano marked with maker on front of case “STEINWAY & SONS”. Piano also marked with serial number and. Overall case approximate height 40.62″, width 57.25″, depth 23.75. There is a video of this piano on youtube- the same exact piano – no relation to this listing but you can pull it up, see and hear it and comments posted including this comment.
