Pleyel Piano art deco Chopin’s favorite brand, made in Paris France
Imported from Paris, France! These are extremely rare to find in the USA as no distributors imported them here. Pleyels where manufactured in Paris France. They are known for being extremely high quality pianos that will last multiple generations. Fun fact, Chopin’s favorite piano brand was Pleyel! This one dates around 1935, give or take a few years. It has beautiful cabinetry throughout. The wood is magnificent, and surprisingly in amazing condition for it’s age. This has been a well loved musical instrument. The best part: it still plays! It can hold a tune at 440 and has a nice tone. Located in Chicago IL, at ground level, no stairs. Arrange the details with them, then I can let them so the rest. Please note: No bench is included. Adam Style Art Cased Grand piano made by Erard Paris. Zustand: gebraucht, Standort: Ettlingen Baujahr ca. 1903, Länge 212 cm. Ein atemberaubendes Beispiel für den Stil, den Adams auf Klaviere angewendet hat. Der von Erard Paris mit der Seriennummer 83631 hergestellte Flügel wurde im Dezember des Jahres 1903 verkauft. Ein Instrument aus Mahagoni mit kunstvollen Einlegearbeiten. Der Adam-Stil (oder Adamesque und Stil der Brüder Adam) ist ein neoklassizistischer Stil des 18. Jahrhunderts, der von drei schottischen Brüdern praktiziert wird, von denen Robert Adam (17281792) und James Adam (1732 1794) waren die bekanntesten. Die Adam-Brüder waren die ersten, die einen integrierten Stil für Architektur und Interieur befürworteten. Wände, Decken, Kamine, Möbel, Einrichtungsgegenstände, Beschläge und Teppiche wurden von Adams als einheitliches System entworfen. Allgemein und fälschlicherweise als Adams Style bekannt, ist der richtige Begriff für diesen Architektur- und Möbelstil der Stil der Adam-Brüder. Der Adam-Stil fand seine Nische aus den späten 1760er Jahren in Residenzen der Ober- und Mittelklasse im England des 18. Jahrhunderts, in Schottland, in Russland (wo er vom schottischen Architekten Charles Cameron eingeführt wurde) und in den Vereinigten Staaten (nach dem Unabhängigkeitskrieg) wurde als Federal Style bekannt und nahm eine eigene Variation an.
