2006 Steinway K-52 Upright Piano Mahogany Crown Jewel Collection
This is an absolutely gorgeous sounding and looking K-52. It hasn’t moved from my studio room. It’s been played lightly and maintained religiously by certified technicians. There are no mechanical issues, and cosmetically it is in stunning shape. I have all the paperwork proving I’m the original owner and receipts from tuning and maintenance over the years. The lows are strong, incredible for an upright, the middle octaves very balanced and the highs are bell-like. There is very light wear on the hammers, as photographed. It was hard to capture the richness of the veneer pattern with the reflections but you can see in the photos it’s a beautiful finish. You can watch a video and hear this piano at youtube. Com/watch? 2006 Steinway K-52 Upright Piano Mahogany
This is an absolutely gorgeous sounding and looking K-52. It hasn’t moved from my studio room. It’s been played lightly and maintained religiously by certified technicians. There are no mechanical issues, and cosmetically it is in stunning shape. I have all the paperwork proving I’m the original owner and receipts from tuning and maintenance over the years. The lows are strong, incredible for an upright, the middle octaves very balanced and the highs are bell-like. Steinways sound warm when new, and the hammers “pack” when the wear in. However this piano hasn’t reached a point where it needs voicing, as you can see there is very light wear on the hammers. It was hard to capture the richness of the veneer pattern with the reflections but you can see in the photos it’s a beautiful finish. I photographed the top of the seat where there is a (more) visible scuff but it’s only in the finish and can easily be buffed out. This occurred when the piano was last tuned!
