The Serial Number 170785 which dates it to 1906. The case is in Rosewood and in clean original condition, not without a few minor marks as you would expect of a piano of this age. The Key covers are immaculate and made of the original’bone’ substance all the best pianos used. It is often said German pianos just before the first war were the best made. During the war the wood from the factories was used to build other things and much of the skill required to build the pianos was lost in the battlefields. It has just been serviced, regulated, voiced and tuned to concert Pitch (A440) it is now suitable for a beginner or extremely good pianist alike.
