1903 Wurlitzer Pianino with Rolls
An antique working 1903 Wurlitzer Pianino that has been in my family since the 1950s. I have spoken to some professionals and collectors and understand that this model is extremely rare and is possibly only one of two or three in existence that have an oval type glass front. The serial number is 9485 and is shown in one of the pictures. Included are 4 rolls – one is currently installed in the pianino and the other three are shown in a picture. The machine plays continuously as the coin drop has been removed when some work was being done to restore the pianino to its original condition. Unfortunately I do not have the time, expertise, or funding to continue restoration and would like to see this go to someone that does have the capability of restoring it to its original condition. I can ensure that it does play, however the pianino needs work and tuning. A piece of the woodwork on the side has chipped off and I do have that piece for repair.
