This piano was made in the late 1800s, when Strich & Zeidler were still proclaimed to be the official piano of New York State. Strich & Zeidler were former Steinway & Sons employees who were determined to make the best piano possible. The piano has a Mahogany wood case, with carvings featuring the Alma Tadema painting Sappho and Acaeus. It has a sterling silver keycover handle & escutcheon. In its time, this model of piano was the highest priced vertical piano of all time. Sides Family Music Center has been serving musicians since 1937.
