BECHSTEIN PIANOS HAVE BEEN USED AND LOVED FOR OVER 165 YEARS BY STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS ALIKE. THE SOUND IS WONDERFUL AND CLEAR. POWERFUL IN THE BASS AND BELL LIKE IN THE TREBLE. THE ACTION IS PRECISE AND CLEAN, ALLOWING GREAT CONTROL. IT MEASURES 147CM WIDE X 126 CM HIGH AND 65CM DEEP AND IS FINISHED IN EBONISED BLACK. IT WILL FIT EASILY INTO MOST ROOMS. THIS PIANO HAS UNDER GONE A FULL REFURBISHMENT AND A 113 POINT CHECK BY A FULLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN TO ENSURE THAT IT IS AS GOOD AS THE DAY IT LEFT THE FACTORY. Legs are cabriole in scrolling flare with meticulous carving. Marked James Dace, a piano shop that was founded in Chelmsford, Essed. Opening in 1852, they are still running as one of the oldest piano shops in the country. The perfect fit in any Biedermeier or Art Deco inspired room. Piano Case is in good shape considering age. The very large soundboard gives you the resonance of a grand piano, yet takes less space. The piano is 52 inches tall. This Yamaha U3AR features the middle sostenuto pedal found in high-quality grand pianos. The piano plays easily and has a wonderful sound. Its a pleasure to play. This piano is an excellent choice for a piano teacher, performer, or serious student. It is in excellent used condition inside and out. There are signs of normal use. The back, bottom corners have some chips in the ebony finish (see pictures). A bench that is in fair condition is included. The piano has just been tuned and is ready to be played and enjoyed.
