We have had for about 15 years. It is like a mini recording studio. It has a wolfer underneath, and two speakers in the cabin. It will take a microphone so you may overlay your singing as your record. These models traditionally take only the old square, plastic floppy discs for the recordings. There are a number of classical and contemporary songs already loaded to the piano. We have played it in the background at various parties that we have had (so it does play itself). The keys are weighted to give the feel of playing an acoustic. It also has a choice of several different piano sounds from models to organ, as well as other instruments brass, drums, etc. Our daughter became much more advanced and we ended up purchasing a Steinway, So we just do not need 2 Baby Grands.
