1979 Baldwin Upright Console Piano
1979 Baldwin Upright Console Piano. When I bought this piano used in 2010, I had Wes Flinn, a well know and very experienced local RPT (Registered Piano Technician) basically pull apart and completely service and tune the piano. He did a few maintenance repairs, including replacing all the rubber grommets that connect the keys to the hammers, as he said they were dried out. It’s been moved a couple of times since then, but is still virtually completely in tune. Not perfectly, but more than playable. The finish has some wear and tear and there is some cosmetic damage on the left bottom rear corner as you can see in the pictures, but overall it’s in great shape for a fourty-four year old piano, Baldwin’s were build to last. Dimensions: 60″x40″x25.
