YAMAHA CONSOLE PIANO AND BENCH. Offered for your consideration is a lovely French Provincial styled piano and bench made by Yamaha. The instrument has been well maintained in a humidity controlled setting and professionally tuned at least every 18 months. The serial number is 1292330 made between 1970-74 according to researched data sources. The overall condition of the piano is excellent; no scratches, dents, stains or UV fading. The wood of both pieces is thought to be a light walnut. There are repaired lamination issues on the underside of the lift bench seat as shown in the pics. Styled in a French Provincial motif meshes well with practically any home decor. This is a balanced medium tone instrument that gets compliments from all that play and tune this piece. Upon closer inspection there are no checks or cracks in the solid wood sound board. The tuning pins are full and tight without issues reported by the tuner. 1965 Steinway & Sons Model 100 Regency Sk 1071 Console Walnut Piano
A wonderful example of old world craftsmanship, the design of this Steinway & Son Model 100 Regency is truly timeless. The piano was owned by one owner who took care of it, in one home, so it has not been moved around. The piano has seen very little use so the action is in similar condition as when it left the Steinway factory in 1965. It was last tuned about 2 years ago. Original matching walnut bench is included. The bench fabric is a woven beige fabric in great condition (see last pic). A yellow velvet fabric was stapled over it to keep it clean. (I’ll let you remove it). Top lifts up for storage.
