THIS Ed Seiler piano was manufactured in Germany in 1938/1939 and was professionally restored. The hammers were replaced with high-quality Wurzen Felt hammers, the key bushings and key tops were replaced and look and play like-new, the “Action” of piano appears to have been rebuilt and is in superb condition. The cabinet was professionally repainted in a soft black satin. Simply put, this piano plays and sounds as beautifully as it looks! This piano was recently disassembled for internal professional cleaning including underneath the keyboard. The entire inside of the cabinet was brushed, vacuumed, and blown out with an air-compressor including the hard to reach areas deep in the action parts and behind the strings. The action and keyboard were lubricated, and hammers were adjusted and tightened. The keyboard has been leveled, regulated, and has even-pressure on all keys. The top lid of this Sieler piano props up like a grand piano letting more sound out, and the keyboard cover is the same type found on grand pianos. The music rack (music desk) folds into the piano when not in use and this Seiler Piano looks beautiful in any configuration of closed, partially opened, or fully opened. This piano has a beautiful warm rich tone, and deep, resonating bass due to Seiler’s patented membrane soundboard!
