A couple of keys are stuck and should be able to fix. Which I did not attempt with my age and abilities. The Kawai Princess Piano is a great-sounding miniature upright piano with a 22-wide keyboard. It’s a real strung piano with a soundboard, and (along with the Kawai-made Monochord piano) sounds better than any other miniature piano we have played. This isn’t a toy piano and doesn’t sound like one; you’ll most likely experience a moment of disbelief when you hear it for the first time. It’s also a great portable acoustic piano for gigging or studio use. It weighs only 80 lbs. Dimensions are 27″ L x 17″ W x 32 H. According to Kawai, the miniature piano’s unique cabinet design and action was designed by Koichi Kawai, the company’s faounder. According to Kawai, they made only about one hundred of these a month for one year. There are probably only a few hundred of these left in the world.

Be aware that this company made piano’s in the 1950’s and 1960’s that were made of “printed” wood and not real wood. The wood grain was printed on. This piano is made of “real” wood. Many Jaymar piano’s made in the late 1950’s & 1960’s only had 25 keys. Made by JAYMAR of New York. Upright Children’s Piano. 30 keys (18 white keys and 12 black keys). Vintage 1940’s in excellent shape. Measures: 19 1/2″ H x 19 1/2″ W x 9 1/2 D. Made from “real” wood (Not printed wood). What you see pictured is the same item that you will be receiving. 1960’s Jaymar Modded Electric Toy Piano. Made in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NYC in the 1960’s. Modified to be electric! Has a volume control and reverse tone control. The tone control is automatically in “dark” mode and when the tone is rolled off it becomes brighter. Vintage Sprague Orange Drop cap. 25 Keys and the upright piano version Jaymar made.
