Lester Spinet Upright’Betsy Ross’ c. 1945 Mahogany piano in very good condition. A few superficial scratches here and there, could be covered up with a mahogany-cherry wood’pen. This is a very attractive piano; it is not an old rickety, wood damaged/warped, paint faded, etc. Such as some of the ones. I’ve seen that are about this age. The piano is in very good condition, although it may need a tuning. It’s been in our family for over 75 years. It’s been kept in a very clean in our house for about 30 years. It has made one move from my grandmothers house to ours. Bench included in fine condition, and piano is on wheels. I bought it from a college about 30 years ago; it was a working student-teaching piano. It’s been kept in a very clean apartment environment and then moved to a house for about 28 years. I had to move suddenly from Maine two years ago and placed it in storage, where it has been in a climate-controlled, heated/air-conditioned environment. Vintage Lester Betsy Ross Spinet Piano
This is a 1950s vintage Betsy Ross Spinet piano by Lester. It was a top-of-the line piano, in its day, receiving endorsement by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Original Golden Anniversary Guarantee Bond paperwork is included. Mechanically, the piano is in excellent condition. All keys operate properly without sticking. No cracks in the sound board. All felts are intact. And all strings are properly attached to their tuning pins. The piano sounds great, but needs to be tuned after moving it. The piano has a mahogany finish and is in good condition. However, there is some damage to the bottom rear corner on the left side.
