Lovely Antique GULBRANSEN Upright PLAYER PIANO Works But Needs Some Work
A very good condition 1930s I believe Gulbrandsen upright player piano. It’s still in very nice condition considering the age. There are some scuffs, but those could all easily be rubbed out, and some little marks filled. It still works when you pump the feet the role spins and plays the song. The problem is you have to really pump continuously because the rubber is getting old and the bellows slowly leak. You can play it as a piano would regularly with no problem as well. Please keep in mind. This is very very heavy so you really are going to have to bring a lift truck or a trailer to move something like this. I will help as best I can. It is ground level so it’s easy to take this right out the front door into the street.

You are looking at a beautiful French Provincial-style upright piano “Consolette” made by Kimball. This listing also includes its matching bench. The set has been in my family since new in the 1950s, originally owned by my grandmother. Please listen to the video on page 2 of the photos for an idea of the sound. There are 88 keys and 3 pedals. It is made of a gorgeous polished dark wood, possibly a fruitwood, walnut, or mahogany. It is Kimball’s style #90 (French Provincial). The advertisement shown on the last page of the photos is for reference only, and is not included in the sale. Three sheet music booklets are included, however. 61″ wide x 42.75″ tall x 24 deep. The bench tucked under the piano juts out 5. Location is Gilroy, California 95020. There are 2 stair-steps to get the piano out of the building. Typically, piano will need tuning after a move. Lovely Mahogany Chickering Brothers Spinet Piano 1950-1951 Beautiful tone
This Chickering Mahogany Spinet Piano is quite lovely to behold with a beautiful warm tone. It has been in the home of a classically trained singer/piano teacher/opera singer in Ohio for over 12 years. Being over 70 years old, it does have knicks and minor scratches on the mahogany case, but still keeps its lustrous patina with beauitifully carved Victorian-style legs, a harp design on the lower casing and attached music stand, and a matching piano bench that mirrors the beautifully carved legs. The ivory keys are all intact and in good condition. The hammers are in excellent shape — but it needs a good tuning! This piano has a matching bench with upholstered top, which is removable to reveal storage underneath. This quality string instrument is 59″ long, 24″ deep, and 40 tall, with casters for easier movement. Note that the carved legs are a bit delicate, so care must be taken when moving it.
