Rare Mid Century Baldwin Acrosonic Piano with stool Midcentury Danish Modern
Stunning Mid Century Modern Baldwin Acrosonic piano. This particular model is rare because it had a limited edition release in the early 1960s. It’s Danish modern tapered leg design and solid wood cabinet make it a work of art as well as a piano. This piano is in excellent vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age. All keys are in clean, working condition. No chips or cracks. The wood looks gorgeous and has a vibrant rich pattern. The design of this piano includes a wicker cane front bottom cover as well as wicker cane back cover. Piano will need a regular tuning, as do all pianos after they are moved. Dimensions – L: 60″ x W: 26″ x H: 36. The piano is located in NY 11235. If you reside in New York and would like to see it first, feel free to message us to schedule an appointment. Baldwin Acrosonic Piano midcentury modern
Gorgeous Baldwin Acrosonic piano. This model is very rare because it had a limited edition release in the early 1960s. The beautiful MCM tapered leg design and solid wood cabinet make this a one-of-a -kind piano. The piano is in good condition, with minor wear consistent with age. This includes an original bench as well. The surface of the bench has a watermark and could be refinished. There are two different styles of bench to my knowledge that come with these and they are just as rare as the piano itself. The piano works well but would need to be tuned especially after a move. Steinway Signed 1942 Midcentury Modern Mahogany Console Piano with Bench
Steinway Signed 1942 Midcentury Modern Mahogany Console Piano with Bench. A signed “Steinway and Sons, New York” Midcentury Modern upright console piano was made in 1942. The original glossy finish on figured mahogany is in very fine condition with only minor mars at the edges, see photos. Resonant tone is what Steinway is famous for, and this vintage instrument is in excellent playing condition. The action is still firm but easy to play. Genuine ivory keys are slightly yellowed as shown, there is a chip on the lowest G. There is a crack in the original soundboard as shown that does not affect the performance or tone of the piano. Measurements are 41″ tall, 59″ wide and 25 deep. The similar bench has storage under the recently upholstered seat and measures 26″ long, 12″ deep and 20 tall.
