A piano with charm, character, and a little slice of history. Standing at 4.5′ tall in classic black with ornate details, this piano has over a century of story to tell. Then owned by famous singer Belinda Carlisle and often played by her good friend Neil Diamond to finally retire in the Sunshine State. It’s been used and loved, showing a bit of wear but with an intact soundboard. It just needs a tune-up to bring its voice back to life. I’d always dreamed of placing this piano as the centerpiece in a cozy cottage of mine, but it’s been resting in climate-controlled storage, waiting for a space to truly shine. If you have a lovely home where this beauty can be appreciated, i’d be thrilled for it to go to someone who will enjoy it.

Model name / number: OA-41P. The piano is an Otto Altenburg model OA-41P and it has the most excellent sound, especially in the tenor/treble section with outstanding sustain. The Bass section is also surprisingly powerful and rich for the size. The action has been recently regulated. All the parts in the piano are in like-new condition. Also comes with an already installed practice felt that lowers over the strings to make it quiet for softer playing. I will sell this piano with one free piano tuning. I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule. The piano is located in my apartment in Bay Ridge. I have good relationships with several piano moving companies that I will gladly recommend if you don’t have one in mind already. The piano has some finish damage on the key slip and fall board hence the lower price. Contact me with any questions.
