Mahogany and real ivory. And it weights a lot…. This lovely piano was built by the famous Ivers & Pond Piano Company of Boston, and is made of beautifully carved mahogany wood. This piano is a bit smaller than most upright pianos, and it is considered a “Parlor Upright”. These pianos were built for smaller homes and cottages of the 19th & 20th Centuries, making them ideal for homes with limited space. A truly Antique Boutique piano. It doesn’t get any better than real hand carved Mahogany and real Ivory. Good condtion, needs to be refinished, tuned and possibly a sound board..
