Piano was played very infrequently and not at all in the past 4 years, prior to that it was tuned as needed. I do not play piano and it is just collecting dust. Lester Spinet Upright’Betsy Ross’ c. 1945 Mahogany piano in very good condition. A few superficial scratches here and there, could be covered up with a mahogany-cherry wood’pen. This is a very attractive piano; it is not an old rickety, wood damaged/warped, paint faded, etc. Such as some of the ones. I’ve seen that are about this age. The piano is in very good condition, although it may need a tuning. It’s been in our family for over 75 years. It’s been kept in a very clean in our house for about 30 years. It has made one move from my grandmothers house to ours. Bench included in fine condition, and piano is on wheels. I bought it from a college about 30 years ago; it was a working student-teaching piano. It’s been kept in a very clean apartment environment and then moved to a house for about 28 years. I had to move suddenly from Maine two years ago and placed it in storage, where it has been in a climate-controlled, heated/air-conditioned environment. 1886 Wegman & Co. Piano. Very rare. Antique
This is an antique piano designed by Wegman & Co. It has been an absolute honor to have this piece of history in our home!!! This piano was built in 1886 and the history of Wegman pianos is very interesting. The closest similar one I found is online for 16,500. Because the piano does need the keys refinished which is something I do not know how to do. All it one key plays, both the inside and outside of this piano is stunning. You will need to hire piano movers to help move. We are a nonsmoking home. Happy to show by appointment.
