Beautiful piano to look at and listen to! The player mechanism has been preserved as pneumatic, but was converted to electric. You can use this player the old fashioned way or the push button way. The player mechanism works really well. I have over 100 rolls that are included. It was manufactured in Newark, New Jersey in 1911. It was refinished and restored approximately 30 years ago. The exterior cabinet is beautiful and has been well preserved. San Domingo Mahogany and English Burl Walnut finish. It is not a great piano to play. When I play it, some keys stick and it has a “tough” touch. The sustain pedal does not work. This is a great piano to entertain people with using the rolls. It is great for parties and sing a longs! It is on the first floor. There are 4 steps to enter the house. The item “1911 Lauter Upright Grand Player Piano” is in sale since Monday, July 20, 2015.
