Kawai K-500 Upright High End Piano
If you are not familiar with the Kawai K-500 piano, it is a high-end upright piano, made in Japan, that sounds beautiful! This model has only been out a few years and it is still a current model. So you can save thousands of dollars and you will be very hard pressed to find a used one on the market. Some of the literature says: With its taller 51 height and newly-designed scale, the K-500 offers a rare combination of power, dynamic range and tonal richness to meet the musical demands of any studio environment. Double Felted, Mahogany Core Hammers. I bought this piano from Evola Music in Canton, Michigan in January of 2017. The first year we had the K-500, it was played often, but over the past year, it has only been played once or twice a week. This is my personal piano that I bought new. Here is a link to Kawai’s site about the K-500. If you have heard these piano’s, they sound wonderful. And they sound so much better than the K-300, which is the next model below it. It’s in my living room in Fowlerville, Michigan, which is 30 minutes east of Lansing, Michigan and very accessible to move out a door into a truck.
