Live crowd response I have’ ever’ heard from not only from a crowd at a Live-Dead Show… At’ Any’ Live Rock & Roll Concert!!! And, for what it’s worth too – at least in my own humble Dead Fan opinion – my view looking back on this Spring’90 Tour isn’t usually the most popular by any stretch of the imagination… , as pretty much everyone seems crazy about the’ Branford’ Show at the Nassau Coliseum. I personally question if’ Brass’ even belongs with Rock & Roll, and especially-with… And, I do well know that others feel otherwise, and quite differently — but, at least to me & my humble Dead Fan ears… 3/14/90 cap Centre Show was indeed The Best! Spring’90 Tour Show – overall, and all things considered. It’s was indeed the’ shortest’ Show, it’s set list doesn’t completely jump out at you other than – the ” Loose Lucy” – naturally… But, ” playing ” wise – I really think it was the very best of the’ Entire’ Tour. There was a little bit nervous energy up there naturally… With all of the Boys, for this ” Tour-Opener ” – and they immediately & completely! Channeled it, and then Hammered! Personally, I even consider this 3/14 Show to be one of the Very-Best! Post-1989′ Grateful Dead Era. I mean for lack of a better way to put it? ” Good Ol’ Grateful Dead ” caliber musicianship & playing… Means it’s All! Meant real serious business all through this 3/14/90 Show, were on Total! And — here indeed is The’ Proof’ in this exceptional pro-released format! Which, only took like 25-Years! But, my goodness – was it ever worth the wait! It is no secret at-all why this Spring 1990 Tour Spring 1990 & Spring’90’ Too’! Was selected for its Amazing! Wilbur Rare Antique Grand Piano (close to 100 years old! Very few made!)
This is a rare antique Wilbur Baby Grand Piano, close to 100 years old. Made in the United States, it features 88 keys, a black color, and is a grand piano. Pianos made by this company are scarce as very few were produced, making them unique and valuable item for collectors. So about hundred years old, maybe more. It has not been tuned in many years and will definitely require maintenance/refurbishment. It also has one broken key. If anyone is interested pls make an offer or message me. A little about the brand. The Wilbur Piano Company was established by Harry D. Pease and John D. Their factory was located at Legget & Randell Streets in New York City. Pease was both President and Director of the Wilbur Piano Company while serving as First Vice President and Director of The Pease Piano Company. Pease served as Secretary, Treasurer and Director of the Wilbur Piano Company while serving as President of the Pease Piano Company. The Wilbur Piano Company offered a full line of upright pianos, baby grand pianos, and player pianos during the first quarter of the 20th Century. By about 1910, the majority of Wilbur instruments were of the player piano variety. Pianos built by the Wilbur Piano Company are a bit rare today, indicating they may not have been built in massive volume like many other New York manufacturers. There is no mention of The Wilbur Piano Company after about 1929, indicating the firm went out of business due to the Great Depression.
