These pianos are exceptionally solid – made of thick, great sounding wood and high-quality artisan parts. Weve had it in the family for five generations and used it lovingly. It plays well with regular tune-ups. It has some scratches and nicks from over the years, but nothing major (see photos). A Steinway & Sons technician has worked on it and has it in good shape. I’ve seen pianos like this completely refurbished going for up to 15K.
