Includes original matching bench. Here is a well kept classic model with the traditional Acrosonic cabinet from the heart of Baldwin’s spinet building years. Handmade, solid, and reliable, this piano still has some good years of musical service left in it. The Baldwin Acrosonic has been a staple in the music industry for decades and is one of the most recognizable and familiar models ever built. Spinet pianos were very popular in American homes, especially from the 1930s to the 1980s. They were an entry-level instrument, more affordable and less daunting than a full upright. Although many manufacturers had spinet models, it was the Baldwin Acrosonic that was considered the highest quality – which is why they are still around and in use today. Designed to not take up a whole bunch of space, yet produce plenty of sound, this little piano is “just right” for someone starting lessons. It plays good, sounds good, and is affordably priced.
