Made around 1880 by Decker Bros in NYC. Solid wood, few scratches, all keys work, none stick. Recently had internal felt replaced on hammers. It’s in excellent original condition. It would be spectacular with all new strings but it sounds amazing even with very old strings. Looking for a good home. It’s heavier than a modern piano. Hazelton Bros. Antique Piano
My dad gave me this lovely Hazelton Brothers mahogany piano when I was 8 years old. I’m moving and I don’t have space any longer. The piano and bench are in good condition and very playable. I want it to go to a good home that wants and needs a piano, so that’s more important to me than the price. The case is mahogany, the keys are probably real ivory–it was made as a quality upright piano. You will need to pick it up in the Hollywood Hills, and you may want to use a piano mover professional.
