This is an upright “beethoven” brand piano in an ornately detailed oak cabinet. By lifting the top cover, you can see the serial number: 138173 on the piano mechanism. This instrument also contains a harpsichord mechanism. There is a lever under the keyboard that allows you to switch between the piano or harpsichord. This would be a great home or family piano. It is in very good working condition and all of the keys play but it is due to be tuned. Our three children learned to play on this piano so it has suffered some wear and tear. There are some small chips on the edges of some of the keys. The cabinet is in very good condition, there are no major dents or scratches. We’ve owned this piano for 30 years and still admire the beautiful carving and filigree work on the cabinet. This item will be by local pick-up only.
