This Steinway has a chrome nameplate on the front because it was part of the Art Deco design element. These particular pianos are very rare. The feel of playing on ivory and ebony keys is much more organic that playing plastic keys. Super playing action and a really beautiful sound as well-I play it more than my Steinway grand piano. Kimball Artist Console Upright Piano with Matching Bench
Cabinet is in great condition. Was tuned a few times for childs lessons. Piano has only been in two homes. Bench cushion trim is coming undone, but can be resewed easily. Great for kids lessons! Steinway & Sons 42 Console. We just received this classic Steinway & Son’s 42 console piano originally manufactured in the USA at the Steinway & Sons factory in New York in 1950. The piano is in very good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. We inspected the piano upon arrival at our shop where it was detailed, serviced, and tuned prior to placement on our showroom floor.
