Antique Functional Fully Tuned 1938 Gulbransen Spinet Piano
Recently, I had this piano tuned two levels up. Sounds absolutely beautiful and loud! Some of the hammers in the higher notes I have peeled back, possibly due to age or moisture although there is no water or moisture damage inside the piano. It has been thoroughly inspected. I love this piano, but due to the lack of use, I could really use the space the piano is in. Would really like to sell the piano ASAP. You will need a dolly to move the piano since rear wheels are compromised, or your more than welcome to repair or replace the piano wheels before moving. This is a vintage piano in over all good shape. STRUCTURE : The rear wheels have disintegrated so it needs assistance moving. Front right leg needs to be secured, it is wobbly when moved; but maintains piano integrity when playing or just idle. KEYS : All keys in great working order. PEDALS : Operational and great working order. HAMMERS : Due to (what I assume) moister in previous location; some of the higher notes keys, felt has peeled back. When I had the piano tuned up to standard and inspected by a professional, I was informed that the felt can be glued down to return keys back to play ability. Aside from the hammer felts, the professional inspection of this piano results were that the piano interior was in great operating function. No mold or moisture damage. Antique Functional Fully Tuned 1938 Gulbransen Spinet Piano
Recently had this piano tuned two levels up. Sounds absolutely beautiful and loud! Some of the hammers in the higher notes I have peeled back but I was told by the piano technician that this can easily be glued down with hobby glue and a clamp as the felt is very strong. The back wheels under the weight of the piano I have disintegrated due to age but can be replaced prior to moving or after. There are some stress cracks that I was also told can easily be fixed.
