Dynavoice keytop player piano vorsetsor This plays YOUR Grand or Upright Piano
Dynavoice keytop player piano for sale. (but no guarantees) Made in approx 1965, was meant to be carried around to parties and played on host piano!!! All original parts, even the brass. Fits on top of any 88 key piano keyboard. One piano roll included in sale. Check out the video. Amazing device,,, although said to be impossible to rebuild, this one HAS BEEN REBUILT. This rest on on top of your keyboard and will play your piano using a a pneumatic vacuum system and plays paper player piano rolls. HISTORY: These units were, , manufactured in Plymouth, Michigan and retailed (if memory serves me) in the early l960s. They used standard 88-note rolls. Promo literature showed folks carrying these units to parties! The “turbine” appeared to be nothing more than a very vacuum- motor whose output was sent to two banks of approximately 84 pneumatic actuators. Each plastic actuator resembled a blunt hypodermic-syringe with the barrel made out of a soft-rubber bellows with circular cross-section. A primary valve sat at the base of each syringe-actuator. Each actuator assembly was permanently attached to the cast-iron Dynavoice player’s base with what looked like a Tinnerman speed-nut. All of the unit’s assembly techniques were such as to render repairs or restoration impossible. The actuator assemblies were permanently glued together and could not be individually repaired. Each unit had three volume settings, soft medium and loud, determined by the vacuum-cleaner motors rpm. The roll-frame was indeed operated by an electric motor with variable speed control. Chickering 5′ Cabinet Grand Upright serial #84192 (1894) in very good playing and operational condition for its age. A rare vintage one of a kind cabinet with unique music deck that would also make an excellent restoration project. Newer bridle strap’s as well as the key tops (whites only) were replaced several years ago with plastic tops. All original ebonies that have been refurbished several years ago in very good condition. The hammers and action parts are in very good condition for the particular age of this instrument. Unique steel damper heads which would make easy restoration of the damper system. Piano had been cleaned and pitched to A440 recently. The Pin block is in very good condition and has a very good torque retention factor. It is finished in high polished ebony. The finish is in excellent condition. This piano was built to the highest standards. Made in South Korea. I had the piano tuned, the action extensively regulated and voiced. There is nothing wrong with this piano. There is nothing to do on this piano. The action is light to the touch and very responsive.
