This is a VINTAGE Gulbransen Upright piano that was made in 1953 per the serial number found inside. It is in a Beautiful deep Cherry / Mahogany wood. This also includes the matching bench with a hinged lid to keep your music close. This piano has been in my family for over 45 years, but its time to find it a new home with someone who will play it and enjoy it. SOME INFO ABOUT GULBRANSEN PIANOS. Established in Chicago in 1904, The Gulbransen Piano Company was a major contributor to the American piano industry in the early 20th Century. Gulbransen produced a full line of upright and grand pianos. After the Great Depression, Gulbransen produced several lines of spinets, consoles and small baby grand pianos. Gulbransen changed ownership several times throughout the 20th Century, and today the name is still being built in electronic keyboards and organs.
