Lovely Antique GULBRANSEN Upright PLAYER PIANO Works But Needs Some Work
A very good condition 1930s I believe Gulbrandsen upright player piano. It’s still in very nice condition considering the age. There are some scuffs, but those could all easily be rubbed out, and some little marks filled. It still works when you pump the feet the role spins and plays the song. The problem is you have to really pump continuously because the rubber is getting old and the bellows slowly leak. You can play it as a piano would regularly with no problem as well. Please keep in mind. This is very very heavy so you really are going to have to bring a lift truck or a trailer to move something like this. I will help as best I can. It is ground level so it’s easy to take this right out the front door into the street.

1960’s Standing Piano (Sold as Is, Needs Work)
It needs to be tuned and refurbished. Does not have a bench. Please understand that this piece is over 60 years old. It has had a lot of loving use over the years, but then wasn’t used for many years as well. The damage is consistent with age. It is made with high quality workmanship and is heavy. With a little loving care and refurbishment, it would be a great instrument to add to your home. Steinway Console Piano withOriginal Bench, Needs Restoration, Vertical/Upright
Please read entire description. Steinway 42 console piano. All keys DO play but the dampers are old and crusty and “sizzle” when the key is released. Tuning pin torque is surprisingly decent (40 in/lbs). What bridges I can see with the lower frame panel removed look good. I have noted some pinblock/back post separation (see photo) that will eventually need to be addressed. There have been some previous soundboard “repairs” via screws and glue (the “blob it in” technique) that should be addressed during the recommended rebuild. I think the cabinet is Mahogany and has a very nice, figured grain. The finish is somewhat faded and flaking in a few places. There is a piece of veneer missing on the right front corner of the music shelf and some loose veneer that needs regluing. Hammers look very well used. This is an excellent candidate for restoration. I’ve been a full time piano technician 30+ years. I’m glad to answer any questions you have about this instrument.
