Rare Louis Zwicki Mid Century Modern Danish Teak Piano with original bench
Gorgeous Mid Century Modern Danish Piano by Louis Zwicki. A limited number of these pianos was produced in the 1950s in Denmark. Clean lines and beautiful teak cabinet make this piano a real mid century modern gem. The note stand is cleverly hidden and can be folded out from the cabinet when top is lifted. Louis Zwicki was a Danish designer who produced a low number of his pieces, so this piano is extremely rare. This piano is in excellent vintage condition and sounds beautiful. Wood has some very minor wear consistent with age bottom left corner – see last photo. Piano comes with the original Danish bench that came with this piano in the 1950s, also in excellent vintage condition. Piano will need a tuning, as with all pianos after they are moved. The keys are in excellent condition as well – 48 white; 34 black. Piano comes with the original back cane cover, which is often missing on these pianos. Height: 36″ x Width: 50″ x Depth: 24. Kawai Black Ebony Upright Piano BS 1A from 1993, original owner
The piano has been kept tuned but very mildly played. While there have been several musicians in the family, no on played the piano as their main instrument. The dimensions are approximately 23″ deep, 59.5″ long and 47.5 high. The serial number is 2112732 and it was manufactured in 1993. Genuine Japanese built Kawai piano in a contemporary European style case in gloss black. Similar size to the Yamaha U1, mellower in tone. Responsive action and deep tone make for a piano suitable for pianists of all levels. This piano is a kin to the new pianos Kawai are producing today, due to the great development that occurred during the 1960s and 70s. Kawai have known not to change the formula that works, and so have only tweaked this model in recent years. This is reflective of what a fine instrument this is, representing the best of Japanese piano craftsmanship. This instrument sacrifices very little in terms of sound quality, tone and depth despite its age. Antique Haunted Upright Tiger Striped WOOD PIANO Original White Leather Bench
Antique Haunted Upright Oak PIANO with Original White Leather Bench. I bought it from an estate but every time anyone plays this piano very strange things happen. The first thing I noticed was when my daughter came to visit and started to play it, scary things happen during and after the piano was used. As my daughter played the piano it appeared as something possessed her, she played very fast and looked hypnotized not noticing anything around her she composed a very unique piece of music that sounded very old like from another time. As I watched her I felt the room become very cold and a chill came down my back as I noticed a shadow walk by the door as to look in at her. This was too strange I asked my daughter to stop as I became extremely frighten. I was also very confused that she composed a piece that sounded like Beethoven or something above her capabilities, she is not a professional pianist so I asked her how did you do that? Her response was I do not know it felt like something possessed me! Later that evening when I was relaxing getting ready to watch my favorite show I heard foot steps, I heard the wood floor creaking and it sounded like someone was walking to the living room suddenly my black lab who is very friendly &;amp;amp;amp; rarely barks jumped up and began growling and barking I was startled because I knew no one else was home, I jumped up to look but no one was in the other room. I really love this piano it has original stain and is superbly build from some very old and heavy wood. Because the same thing happens when they come over and after they play it many strange and unexplained phenomenal occurs. I could write down every incident but it would probably would be too long to read. I think if you have that special gift to connect to the spirit world this piano might be the answer for you. All I can tell you it is scaring me and I want to get rid of it ASAP. I have put this piano in storage. I provide many pictures and pictures is part of my description as you could Zoom closer. Up for sale is our beautiful Mason & Hamlin model H console piano. I bought this about 9 years ago from a private party. This instrument has not seen too much use over the years and is in very good condition overall. Action is on the lighter side. It holds its tuning VERY well even though it hasn’t been tuned in several years. The beautiful case is in very good condition and has the usual nicks and scratches that come with being 63 years old. Included in the sale is the original matching bench that is in equally good condition. This is a final sale.
