This elegant, pristine Baby Grand was custom made for my mother who passed away recently. She had it in her formal living room and was the centerpiece of the home. It was barely played but only by my mother, who lovingly cared for this piano and maintained it in its excellent condition. Original Owner, Excellent Condition, Recently Tuned, Black Baldwin B252 Concert Vertical Piano. In original location, never been moved. Only used by adult Church Professional Pianist to practice for Church Services and Home entertainment. Includes original Baldwin bench. Serial Number shown, made in USA around 1987, 1988. (Baldwin Pianos made since 2008 made in China). The B252 version is derived from the larger 6000 Concert Vertical upright. This is one of the tallest upright pianos on the market. It was meant to compete directly with the Steinway K52 in size and price. It has a real working center pedal, similar to the grand piano. Most of the other upright makers have a center pedal mute and not an actual working musical pedal. This piano features the patented “Tone Extender”. It makes the bass on this sustain like a Grand Piano. The Accu-Just Hitch Pins Baldwin uses on the bass section of all of their pianos are found on this piano, but this one has bearings on every single note.
