Vintage Lester Betsy Ross Spinet Piano
This is a 1950s vintage Betsy Ross Spinet piano by Lester. It was a top-of-the line piano, in its day, receiving endorsement by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Original Golden Anniversary Guarantee Bond paperwork is included. Mechanically, the piano is in excellent condition. All keys operate properly without sticking. No cracks in the sound board. All felts are intact. And all strings are properly attached to their tuning pins. The piano sounds great, but needs to be tuned after moving it. The piano has a mahogany finish and is in good condition. However, there is some damage to the bottom rear corner on the left side. Vintage Schoenhut Childs Toy Piano Upright Working Rare 25 Keys AWESOME
This is a vintage Schoenhut Child’s Toy Piano. This is an upright piano that WORKS! There are 25 keys in total 15 are white and 10 are black. Each key will play a note. It will need a tuning! Each key strikes a loud lovely note. There are no broken keys. There is some wear to the wood in areas including some scratching, scuffing. No deep nicks, dings or gouges in the wood. Some areas of worn stain. NOt perfect but in excellent condition for its age. All the wood is intact. The top of the piano looks slightly warped or bowed. 19.75″ tall x 10.25″ deep x 17 wide. The ” Schoenhut graphic” is nice and readable as shown. It is marked on the underside O. Castor Ave Philadelphia, Pa 19134 JP 131. Vintage Price and Teeple Piano Upright 1915 Era For Restoration Plays. Been stored indoors at a pastor’s house. Piano tuner looked it over & was impressed on how it sounded for its age, said it has longer strings than a baby grand. Currently sitting in my carport covered. Restore it or play it like it is. My roommate is a pianist, he was shocked how well it sounded and played, not knowing when it was tuned last. Serial # 33488 puts it in around 1915 i think, give or take. Please research and make you own decision. Could be 1932 as i see 7,19,32 and a signature on the metal. Reads Over 30000 Price and Teeple pianos in daily use. Workmanship and material fully guaranteed Price and Teeple piano co Chicago. H 56 1/2″ L 61 1/4″ W 28. I can only post 12 photos, please request more photos. Lock was carefully picked (no key), no pulldown knobs on key cover. Lowest key isn’t working, all others do. 3 white key tops are missing, 1 is chipped, 1 is cracked, some have marks or scratches. Has dings, top left was chipped off (i have the piece minus 1) see picture. Bottom left has some damage also (see picture). Has some white paint drips and smear on right side. Upright Schiller grand piano with 88 keys and 3 pedals. I inhereted it but I do not play piano and I need the space. It is heavy so bring a few people. Probably made in the USA. The Piano measurements are. 56 inches at the highest. 65 inches at the longest. Some keys are missing the top of the key. But overall the piano looks great and sounds amazing.
