The bench opens for storage. The bench and piano have ring turned tapering legs; the pianos legs end in brass casters. There are 2 pedals. The keyboard is 48 inches long with 52 white keys and 36 black keys for a total of 88. The quality of the piano is equal to the finest names in piano manufacturing and design. The serial number, 780967, is located on the pianos back and interior, and indicates the pianos 1962 date of creation. The Wurlitzer hallmark can be found on the front center of the piano, and inside. Established in 1856 by Franz Rudolph Wurlitzer in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Wurlitzer Company began designing pianos in 1880 — and quickly became internationally known.
