This is our preowned Aeloian Player Upright. It comes with a matching bench and 20 piano rolls to add to the fun! It is a super fun piece of furniture and instrument that can add some real excitement and character to a cabin style home. A little background on the piano, we just took this on trade and had our tuner/technician go through it. Overall, it is in very good condition! All of the keys play and the player system does work well. It works great when you plug it in through the back, but does have some difficulty playing by pumping the pedals at the bottom. It’s a very fun piano that has the unique ability to play. This is an excellent opportunity to get a super unique and fun instrument at a great price! Antique 1900 Henry & S. G. Lindeman upright grand piano
This beautiful oak Henry & S. Lindeman “upright grand” piano was built in exactly 1900, based on its serial number. It is in amazingly good condition. It still has beautiful sound and a great touch. FYI-About the Lindeman from the piano specialist. Your piano is made of beautiful quarter sawn oak and is of the Late Victorian style. Internally, the piano appears to be in original, un-restored condition. The average piano has about a 50-year lifespan before the felts, leather and strings deteriorate and need restoration. The fact your piano is in such good condition at this age is a real testament to the quality that went into building it! The piano is an upright grand and would have the sound of a full grand piano if it were professionally restored. If you look at the soundboard in your piano, you will see that the grain in the wood is very close together. This wood with tight rings is more resonate and has much better tone quality than new pianos. Unfortunately, most of this quality wood is gone forever. New pianos with green wood do not have the same sound because they are not as deep and resonate in tone quality. As these pianos are destroyed, this wonderful wood is lost forever. Luckily, people are beginning to realize the quality of these vintage instruments and they are investing in their restoration and preservation for future generations to enjoy. 1889 Upright Piano Antique Original Fischer Victorian Free Local Pickup CA
Fischer 1800s Rococo Victorian Upright Piano Ivory Keys. Beautiful antique upright walnut and mahogany piano, almost 130 years old from the late 1800s. This was originally sized for a bedroom, a smaller home version for the time period, which saw grand pianos in style. The Fischer company began in 1840 and was known for making high quality pianos, made in the USA. The trio of ornamental fretwork designs on the face are gorgeous. Would work to refinish or leave as is for a lovely accent to your home or bar. We are not piano experts. This appears to be in good condition for age, at least one key sticks. Pedals move parts back and forth internally. See photos of the inside with the front fretwork piecing removed – looks like a work of art. All ivory keys appear original. Original 1889 advertisement from Fischer catalogue reads, The Fischer Piano – Style H – Boudoir Upright – In Rosewood Finish, fancy burled walnut and mahogany – 7 1/3 octaves, 3 unisons, Scale A to C, Overstrung Bass, Improved French Grand Action, patented, handsome designs in panels and fretwork, carved Consoles… Patent Pedal Guard, Ivory Keys… At least serviced in the 1970s, info inside.
