Antique 1905 Wellington Mission Style Upright Piano. We are accepting offers. We are not piano experts but. According to the serial number. We estimate this is a Mission Wellington Tiger Oak Upright Piano, circa 1905 with three (3) working pedals. Tiger Oak Mission-style upright pianos are becoming more rare and valuable. Comes with three working pedals including the ones that make the keys go mute so you can silence practice to your heart’s desire 24/7. Made of rare antique wood with a tight grain which produces a deep and rich resonant sound. Overall working condition but. Has not been tuned in several years. We make no guarantees regarding tuning. One of the keys is missing the top ivory covering. As shown in photos, there is a light stain on upper left deck and one or two of the caster wheels are missing. According to the internet. Very handsome piece of furniture which can also be used. As film, theater, stage, hotel or AirBnB prop. Or use for silent practice 24/7. 1906 EBERSOLE Upright Piano
This is a 1906 Ebersole Upright Piano made in Cincinnati Ohio. Looks to be Mahogany but I’m not sure. This upright has been in my family for approximately 20 years and has gotten a lot of use. It is in relatively good shape but does need some TLC. Tuning would be one, and there is one key that doesn’t make a sound unless struck hard. All keys are there and I’m not sure if they are still ivory or not. An expert would have to determine if they have been replaced or not. Has a great finish on most of the flat surfaces but scratches and minor gouges on some edges and corners (please see photos). It is missing a wheel on the left rear side but is setting on a piece of wood that makes it level and stable. You cannot see the wood sticking out from under the piano. The inside of the piano shows the brand, serial number, and the patten date, along with some handwritten dates of a couple times it had been tuned and by whom. This is a gorgeous piano that is still very solid and restorable for a nice working showpiece or for someone who buys and sells.
