This Bosendorfer piano has been beautifully restored, and is almost indistinguishable from a more modern instrument. The tone on this piano is exactly what you expect from a Bosendorfer: super resonant with an emphasis on warm, low-end heavy sounds. This piano would do well in just about any musical setting, from the jazz club to the concert hall. Completely restored in Europe. German hammers and shanks are made by “Abel” to Bosendorfer specifications. Original Soundboard recrowned and refinished. Restored under level system. New damper felt, all damper heads refinished. Pin-block replaced with Bolduc planks. German bass strings made of Heller brass. Harp sand blasted and refinished in Bosendorfer gold. Finish Polished Polyester, resin supplied by BASF Germany.
