Bush & Gerts 1892-1893 Refurbished Upright Piano
Plays great but needs a little tuneup. The restoration included plastic keys to replace the broken ivory, and also noted a one-half inch x 2 inch x 3/8 deep wood piece missing at the bottom right side rear portion. It’s a real beauty and sounds great after 130 years commemorating the founding of America in 1492 by Christopher Columbus. Both my wife and daughter learned to play on the Chicago made product, serial number 54422. Piano measures 67.25 x 28 x 57.5 inches.

Just had it Tuned, inspected, and one minor repair done, and Appraised at 17,000.00. Has its original I v o r y Keys except for 5 that had the ends were replaced. Antique, ornate, Walnut upright Bush and Lane piano in good condition. This is a beautiful piano. It was built in 1920. This piano has been in my family since 1920. It has “lived” in Oregon, Northern California and now Riverside. It needs a good home! Due to Bush and Lane’s advanced player mechanisms, these pianos have withstood the test of time and are often more durable than other pianos from the same era. These pianos set a standard that other piano companies aspired to match, and they are often comparable in quality to some of the finest piano brands of today. You have to hear the piano to appreciate it! Also, the piano is missing the ivory on a few keys. If you need to know how many, let me know! Note: this is a VERY heavy piano! I would guestimate it weighs around 600 to 700 pounds – you will want a professional piano mover to move this piano! Please find a piano mover that meets with your approval! I can not tell you how much they will charge because I do not know the specifications of where your piano will be located. My piano is located near my front door. There is one step (and a threshold) they will need to go down to get the piano to their truck. I can give you more information if you wish. You, or your representative, will need to come look at the piano and make sure it meets with your approval before the sale is final! This protects you and me!
