Antique, Upright Emerson Piano, Circa 1885’s PRICE LOWERED
Antique Upright Grand Piano has been in the same family for at least 60 year, possibly longer. One peddle was broke during the moving process many years ago, but could be welded back on. There are a few chips in some keys, show in picture. Five keys need to be fixed. Claw foot swivel stool included. I have been told by many dealer to just throw this piano out! I would really like to see it go to a home where it will get use or to someone who loves to make old things whole again. CHICKERING UPRIGHT Cabinet Grand PIANO VINTAGE CIRCA 1894
Chickering 5′ Cabinet Grand Upright serial #84192 (1894) in very good playing and operational condition for its age. A rare vintage one of a kind cabinet with unique music deck that would also make an excellent restoration project. Newer bridle strap’s as well as the key tops (whites only) were replaced several years ago with plastic tops. All original ebonies that have been refurbished several years ago in very good condition. The hammers and action parts are in very good condition for the particular age of this instrument. Unique steel damper heads which would make easy restoration of the damper system. Piano had been cleaned and pitched to A440 recently. The Pin block is in very good condition and has a very good torque retention factor. This distinctive and exclusvie name designates a line of spinet and console pianos built by the Baldwin piano company. This piano is a well known entry in the spinet piano market. Lovely rich color instrument whose case is in lovely condition with only minor wear visible. Small scuffs on the round outer corners. One rub area at a joint on the top right that could easily be colored with a matching stain pen. The piano bench needs refinishing (unless you use a piano bench cover) because of multiple.
