Serial number 275887 manufactured in Braunscheig, Germany in 1988. This piano features a lovely walnut high gloss finish which has been very well maintained. Schimmel is world renowned for high-quality pianos. The entire decor epoch is named after the gifted English furniture maker Thomas Chippendale. A piano with an unusual aura to it-one of festivity and distinction. Particularly charming the grande-type music desk and top and the curved , lockable fallboard. Beautiful Blue Samick Upright Piano Artisan Collection Piece and Matching Bench
This is a beautiful piano that I’ve had in my house for many years. The piano was given to me as a birthday present when I was actively playing in school. Since holding this piano, it has served as an excellent practice instrument as well as a beautiful piece of furniture for any home that likes a little more of an eccentric style. I now own a grand piano and do not have the space or the need for this piece anymore. The soundboard is stickered and made of 100% Samick soundboard spruce. For an upright piano it has a very beautiful, sonorous sound. The feel on the piano it’s also very nice. The piano does need a tune and has some very minor scuffing underneath where the bench rubs against the piano but other than that it is in absolutely fantastic condition. This Bush and Lane upright piano with a burled walnut Pompeian case was built circa 1910. It boasts massive columns and elegant moldings and measures 58.5 H x 67.5 W x 29 D. This piano was rebuilt in 1991 including new keyboard, hammers and outside cabinet completely refurbished. It was rescued from an old church in San Pedro, California, that was set to be demolished. This piano has the original matching bench, which is a rare find. Overall, the cabinet is in excellent condition except for some nicks and scrapes on the front piano legs on both sides. Two or three keys are stuck and need repair. One knob on piano cover is loose. Please examine photos closely.
